FSU FOOTBALL
Florida State football is at a high in college football after beating Alabama and East Texas A&M. The perception of the program is better now that the product on the field looks to be headed in the right direction.
With that said, it wasn't that way during the offseason, as junior defensive back Conrad Hussey was dismissed from the team for an off-the-field incident with a coach on the staff. This made the fan base wonder what was going on in Tallahassee.
Hussey was a former four-star prospect who individuals were excited about out of high school. The talented defensive back had a bone-crushing hit against Virginia Tech in 2023, and didn't do much of anything else during his career in Tallahassee.

The fan base thought that Hussey could be a player to monitor at the safety position for a potential bounce-back season in 2025. Some didn't know what the safety position was going to look like, but there was hope from the coaching staff that Earl Little Jr. would be a star, and then fans wondered what would happen with veteran Shyheim Brown.
It was speculated that junior Conrad Hussey could be a quality reserve who comes in the game for a spark of energy. It was reported on Monday afternoon that Hussey decided to commit to the Oregon State Beavers.
