It’s one thing to say you’re going to do something, but to actually do it, that’s big time. FSU fans remember one guy stating he’d eat dog poop if FSU lost to Boston College last season.
FSU lost the game, and the FSU fan didn’t deliver on this promise. Some FSU fans believe that put bad juju on FSU, causing them to go 2-10 (I don’t subscribe to that, but cool).
This year, an FSU fan said he would get a Mike Norvell tattoo if FSU pulled off the massive upset to beat Alabama in the season opener.
Of course, FSU dominated Alabama to win 31-17, and the rest is history. It only took two weeks for the fan to deliver on his promise:

The tattoo artist did a great job on the tattoo, capturing a lot of intricate details from the photo. Will the fan keeping his word continue the good fortune for the Noles in 2025?
Clemson lost to Georgia Tech earlier Saturday, and that’s the only team remaining on the schedule that was thought to be an automatic loss in the preseason. However, that isn’t the case as FSU's confidence for Clemson has skyrocketed.
FSU will have a road game against Virginia and will host Miami the following week. If they can get through those two games unscathed, they’ll be the odds-on favorite to win the ACC and make the College Football Playoff.
Whether the tattoo helps or not, I'd rather he keep his word and get the tattoo or not. At the very least it provides the opportunity for a cool conversation. Good on you sir for keeping your word!
