A few short weeks ago, the thought would have been that FSU was going to roll Wake Forest at home, coming off a bye week after starting the season 3-0.
Fast forward a few weeks, FSU has lost four straight games, and FSU fans want Mike Norvell fired yesterday because they believe FSU will lose its fifth straight game when Wake Forest comes to Tallahassee next week.

Wake Forest ended SMU’s 20-game ACC winning streak with a field goal as time expired on Saturday afternoon for a 13-12 win.
It’s hard to argue with the sentiment of those FSU fans. FSU lost to a team that’s much worse than the Demon Deacons last week when Stanford beat FSU with its backup quarterback playing for over half of the game.
FSU had some offensive guys banged up going into the Stanford game, and some played at less than 100 percent. They left tons of opportunities on the field, and penalties ended other drives. It was much more of FSU stopping themselves than anything else.
FSU quarterback Thomas Castellanos left the Stanford game late after getting hit in the head while sliding. The hope is that Castellanos took the bye week to heal, and he’ll have all of next week.
FSU could also get some other key offensive players like Duce Robinson and Micah Pettus back.
The injuries and penalties have been the culprits limiting the offense lately. However, the FSU defense has glaring holes everywhere and havent' been the same since early in the season. Wake Forest is a team who has a solid defense and an offense that will probably take advantage of an FSU defense that lacks discipline and physicality.
The game will start at 7:30 p.m. ET and will air on the ACC Network.
