The late FSU linebacker Bradley Jennings had two sons in recent years with the opportunity to play football at the Division I level.
Branden Jennings was the No. 108 player nationally who committed to FSU out of high school before flipping his commitment to Michigan, but ultimately signed with Maryland during the Early Signing Period in 2020.
Jennings has entered the transfer portal THREE times and on the roster at Mississippi State.
Brody Jennings is the No. 277 player nationally and was a Michigan commit before flipping to the rival Miami Hurricanes on Saturday.

Jennings commited to the Wolverines in July 2024 before receiving an offer from FSU in November 2024.
The Noles got him back on campus in March for an unofficial visit before getting him for an official visit in June. The Miami Hurrcianes didn't offer Jennings until January 2025 and he took an official visit there on the last weekend in May.
Jennings also took official visits to Florida, Michigan, and Auburn. FSU has one legacy blue-chip defensive back committed in Jay Timmons. There's a need for defensive backs at FSU, and FSU was interested in Jennings.
I remember the way his older brother handled his commitment(or the folks around him) and it was less than ideal. Hopefully, his Brody Jennings has some folks around him offering better advice, but it's ironic he's from the same high school as former QB commit Trammell Jones Jr.
They attend Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida. It's a place with FSU ties that FSU has had little luck acquiring talent from over the past couple of years.
It's more of a perception hit than anything. Jennings is a solid defensive back, but it's a position FSU has no problem fielding talent. The Noles expect to add top-50 talent Chauncey Kennon when he announces his commitment on Sunday. Good luck to Jennings, and hopefully he doesn't hop from school to school like his older brother.
