The final availability report for tonight's game against N.C. State has been released, and it's official that running back Sam Singleton Jr. is out.
Singleton, who has started the past three games, was questionable going into the week dealing with an array of wear and tear from his expanded workload. Starting guard Richie Leonard IV remains questionable. If he can't go, Jacob Rizy would likely get the nod.

Ousmane Kromah had a significant role last week. Wonder how much he'll be leaned on tonight at NC State.https://t.co/MAZqnUV6mA
There's also late word that defensive lineman Kevin Wynn is with the team, but his status for tonight is not yet determined. Looks like there might be a late injury there. Linebacker Omar Graham Jr. is also questionable on the final report. The FSU defense is reeling a little after the announcement that cornerback Ja'BrilRawls is out for the season.
Who is next in line at running back?
The bigger question would be if freshman Ousmane Kromah will finally get the workload at running back that fans have wanted to see. Kromah was pretty much a forgotten man in the backfield until Mike Norvell promised more usage of the former blue-chip prospect last week and Kromah got 11 carries, about eight of them before the game got out of hand. But the 11 carries is as much as he got in the three previous games combined.
Kromah, who was one of the top recruits that FSU has signed under Norvell, has had a decent season, but he's yet to have the breakout game that fans expected given the fanfare he received coming into the program. When Kromah has gotten the opportunities, he's been fine and is averaging almost six years per carry, but he hasn't taken over the position yet and become the freshman sensation that guys like Dalvin Cook and Cam Akers were.

The other backs in the rotation will be Gavin Sawchuk, who seems to have the trust of the staff to be on the field during passing downs because of his ability to block. Senior Cazoah Holmes will probably also get some touches.
