Florida State coaches don’t know what their future looks like in Tallahassee, but they continue to host recruits on official visits. The Noles gained a commitment from an official visitor earlier this month when three-star linebacker Daylen Green chose FSU.
FSU will have six players taking official visits to Tallahassee for the Virginia Tech weekend, and two are FSU commits:
- Izayia Williams: Four-star linebacker (FSU commit)
- Jordan Crutchfield: Three-star defensive back(Kentucky commit)
- Kamron Wilson: Three-star defensive end (Syracuse commit)
- Corbyn Fordham: Three-star tight-end (FSU commit and legacy)
- Jalen Anderson: Three-star defensive end (No. 2 JUCO DE)
- Josh Warren Jr.: Three-star defensive end (No. 4 JUCO DE)
Williams is a talented guy who has flipped his commitment several times and battled injuries. FSU lost a commitment from Tedarius Hughes when he flipped to Syracuse recently. Crutchfield could be a potential replacement in the class.

FSU gained its first defensive end commitment earlier this month when former Georgia Tech defensive end Chris Carbin chose the Noles. They continue to put a heavy emphasis on that position and need more depth. Kamron Wilson is a long-time target who would be a long-term project with a good frame to fill out. Fordham is the second tight-end in the class and a former Ohio State commit.
The two JUCO players are newer offers who could help with depth at the position and are closer to being ready to play physically than someone like Wilson.
Will hosting any of these players matter? Williams has great upside and potential. Wilson has potential, but the rest wouldn't be anything special. We'll see if they gain any traction with the guys who are uncommitted or committed elsewhere.
Ultimately, it probably matters if Mike Norvell returns to FSU or not in 2026.
