The calendar may read June, but Florida State football fans everywhere can't wait for late August to get here. In a little over two months, the Seminoles will take on Alabama in what should be a thrilling Week 1 matchup. Leave it to Thomas Castellanos to spice things up a bit.
The veteran quarterback is getting ready to make his debut for Mike Norvell and he's fired up to put on a show with the rest of the country watching. At the same time, he's not going to let Alabama get in his head. If anything, he's ready to silence the Tide, providing Pete Nakos with quite the take on what he thinks about the SEC powerhouse:

Thomas Castellanos has given Alabama bulletin-board material ahead of Week 1
Wow, tell us how you really feel, Thomas. That's quite the statement from the signal-caller and one that sure has Tide fans pretty darn upset. Last season simply did not go according to plan for Alabama following the retirement of Nick Saban.
Kalen DeBoer was brought in from Washington, but the Tide finished the year 9-4. No one expected DeBoer to lose four games in his first campaign in Tuscaloosa, but that's how things went down, with the program missing out on the College Football Playoff.
Since then, people have been racing in to deliver shots on Alabama, with Castellanos now adding his name to the list. The Boston College transfer, who started his career off with UCF, is hoping to make a statement come August and no one can question his confidence level.
Alabama is understandably favored to post a win in the season-opener, but Castellanos could care less about that. He's not scared to ruffle some feathers and he's also not scared of the Alabama defense. Will the Tide end up making him eat his words? We'll find out the answer to that question once Aug. 30 gets here.
