FSU football will play rival Florida Gators under the lights to finish 2024 season

FSU football will play its game on Saturday against Charleston Southern at a weird time in the afternoon. However, they will return to a more familiar time when they host the rival Florida Gators in the 2024 season finale.
The Noles will play the Gators at 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2 on Saturday, November 30th.
It's crazy how different the seasons have gone for these two programs. FSU was a No. 10 preseason team, and everyone was sure Billy Napier would likely get fired before the season ended. However, FSU is 1-9 and fired its two coordinators last week, while Billy Napier got a vote of confidence from his Athletic Director even though they are only 5-5.
Admittedly, Napier has his team playing hard and beat LSU last week. He also has his talented freshman quarterback, DJ Lagway, producing this year.
Napier flipped a former 2025 FSU commit and is trending to flip another, but neither player will likely make an impact at either stop. Not anytime soon.
Florida will likely lose to Ole Miss this week, which means they will go into the FSU game needing a win to become bowl-eligible. They'll likely be betting favorites to win that game unless FSU can find some magic between this week and next.
FSU has beaten Florida in both years with Billy Napier at the helm. A win against Charleston Southern, and Florida would be a huge shot in the arm for a program looking to get off the mat and make some big hires as we go into the offseason.
