Florida State's offense has been horrendous this season, where the Seminoles have suffered losses to Georgia Tech, Boston College, Memphis, SMU, and Clemson. However, even the scoring production has remained the same, the Seminoles are trying redshirt freshman Brock Glenn at quarterback after the injury to veteran DJ Uiagalelei.

Fans have gotten excited by Glenn's play because he plays with a different mindset and utilizes his legs to avoid pressure. Some things never change, as the wide receivers let him down with multiple drops.

The veterans have let this football squad freefall into nothing. The Seminoles are a punching bag for jokes in the landscape of college football. You know, individuals such as Paul Finebaum and Greg McElroy love kicking FSU when they are down.

The offense was supposed to be solid this year. However, the unit is possibly the worst in all of college football. I realized that it was going to be difficult to replace the likes of Jordan Travis, Trey Benson, Johnny Wilson, Keon Coleman, and Jaheim Bell.

I thought that the offense would be serviceable enough to win 8-9 games, contend for the conference, and prepare for the 2025 season when Alabama comes to Tallahassee for the opener.

However, that mindset has gone out the window. The coaching staff tried to make the offense dynamic with adding transfer pieces such as Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown. Both contributors have not lived up to the billing.

I thought that the veterans needed to step up, such as JaKhi Douglas and Kentron Poitier. Douglas has been solid, but Poitier has been inconsistent.

We all remember Poitier's sensational touchdown reception versus Boston College, where he finished the game with three receptions for 79 yards and one touchdown. He has since come back to Earth, where he has four receptions and 40 yards with one touchdown in the last four contests.

It would have been nice to see 6'3" Poitier get opportunities in the red zone to help this squad out with scoring. However, I could see the senior getting less and less chances due to the team going to more of a youth movement.
