BROCKtober has arrived in Tallahassee for the remainder of the 2024 season

Brock Glenn has continued to showcase his poise as a quarterback.

Florida State lost to Clemson by a score of 29-13 on Saturday night in the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium. Unfortunately, the Seminoles fall to a 1-5 record with losses to Georgia Tech, Boston College, Memphis, SMU, and now Clemson.

After achieving an undefeated regular season and a conference championship in 2023, the program has regressed its expectations. Florida State is trying to cling to something positive as they look to build towards the future.

Veteran quarterback DJ Uiagalelei suffered an injury to a finger on his throwing hand versus SMU, which means that he could miss the remainder of the 2024 season.

That is all fine and dandy with the fan base, as several individuals are looking to see what they have in the younger options on the roster, especially with quarterbacks Brock Glenn, Luke Kromenhoek, and Trever Jackson.

Glenn finished with 23 of 41 pass attempts with 228 passing yards and two touchdowns with only one interception. The youngster showcased poise in the pocket against the best defensive unit the Seminoles will see all season.

It was not a perfect product by the redshirt freshman, but he showcased fight and determination through the struggles. The drops by wide receivers, lack of running game, and inability to establish the line of scrimmage by the offensive line did not help matters either.

Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell spoke to the media after Tuesday's practice about the signal caller's performance versus Clemson and stated the following:

"I thought he did a good job. Some things early and some that you would love for us to connect on, but I thought that his response over the course of the game was really good. "

I thought Glenn gave the Seminoles an excellent chance to be successful while also getting young playmakers involved, such as tight end Landen Thomas and wide receiver Hykeem Williams. I wished that the quarterback would've had an opportunity to use his legs more often, but there were signs of growth and development as a passer.

It seems like Norvell was excited by his poise in such a big moment. The redshirt freshman looks to be used to it after being thrown in the fire for the ACC Championship Game versus Louisville and the Orange Bowl against Georgia with multiple opt-outs.

I can't wait to see how Norvell uses him for the remainder of the 2024 season.
