The Florida State football fanbase is still riding high off the big upset win over the Alabama Crimson Tide last week. FSU leaped to No. 14 in the national polls after entering the season unranked.

The Noles have a game against East Texas A&M Lions on Saturday with a noon kickoff. FSU is such a large betting favorite that there haven’t been any betting lines that I can find anywhere for the game.

The biggest opponent for the Noles this week is battling how they handle their success from last week. The players have said all of the right things throughout this week in post-practice interviews. It’s all about the process, etc.

East Texas A&M played an ACC foe in its first game, SMU. The score was 21-3 at halftime, with the Lions missing a 22-yard field goal and throwing an interception in the first half.

They had some modest success against the Mustangs, totaling 351 total yards and averaging 4.5 yards per play. However, it was three turnovers and 11 penalties for 80 yards that had a big impact on the game. SMU had three sacks and six tackles for a loss in the game.

It’s a game that FSU should win by four or more touchdowns, so we won’t spend too much time breaking this one down. However, here are the top three things we should look for.
