It starts with keeping the remaining commits, with four-star DL Kevin Wynn. The new defensive coordinator hire might be enough to get that done, although rumors he'd flip to numerous schools have been rampant.

If FSU keeps everyone else and adds the following:

  • Tavion Wallace: 4-star LB (Arkansas commit)
  • LaJesse Harold: 4-star DE (Recent LSU decommit)
  • Tylon Lee: 4-star DE(Ole Miss commit)
  • Teriq Mallory: 3-star WR/TE (WVU commit)
  • Tyeland Coleman: 3-star DL(JUCO)
  • Tae'shaun Gelsey: 4-star WR/TE (Florida commit)
  • Tony Williams: 4-star Safety (UCF commit)
  • Sean Poret: 3-star OL (USF commit)

If FSU loses Thomas, keeps everyone else, and lands these eight guys? It would put FSU at 19 commits and a No. 19 high school recruiting class as of now.

Of course, other programs can add or lose players that change those rankings. However, there are other players who could emerge from existing relationships with the new staff getting hired to.

I only included these players because they have ties to FSU or have visited recently. Most of them have been on campus in the last couple of weeks.
