FSU football hasn’t done a ton of winning on the field since the first few weeks, but the brand continues to gain favorable spots on TV.
While FSU hasn’t been piling up wins lately, the brand still secures prime TV spots. This weekend, the Noles will face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on the ACC Network. Looking ahead, FSU fans learned the following week’s game against Clemson will take place at the same time and location, with the Noles traveling to Death Valley Stadium.

Given this setup, one might expect FSU’s trip to Clemson to be must-see TV after the Noles rolled Alabama in the season opener and Clemson lost a close game to top-ranked LSU. However, both teams are currently reeling, entering week 10 with 3 wins and four losses each.
Clemson will host Duke this week, while FSU hosts Wake Forest. If both teams pull off wins this week, it could add a bit of a buzz to the conversation, but this game will be an afterthought compared to what it would be if both teams were at the top of the conference.
The hot seat for Mike Norvell was at a fever pitch after the loss against Stanford, and Dabo Swinney seems to have a growing list of detractors at Clemson. If Mike Norvell loses against Wake Forest, there seems to be growing sentiment he won't make that trip to Clemson.
It's crazy because everyone was praising Dabo for not using the transfer portal to recruit and crediting him for doing things the right way. However, he can't consistently win with only good high school recruiting either. It's a different world in college football nowadays.
