FSU football has one week of fall camp under its belt and has already had one practice in on the team's annual road trip to Jacksonville.
Mike Norvell isn't wasting any time trying to figure out what he has with this team. The Noles had their first scrimmage the other night and will have their second scrimmage on Sunday.
It's like Mike Norvell is setting the tone for competition early and looking to develop a potential depth chart so guys can fight for spots.
It also gives the coaching staff an idea of how to start gameplanning for the season opener against Alabama. The Noles will have roughly three weeks to prepare for the game after the second scrimmage.
I think the coaching staff has a solid idea of who the starters will be at most of the positions, but there are still a few spots of open competition. The last three weeks of camp will help sort those out.
