FSU football: 5 MAJOR things we learned from 2025 fall camp

We’re almost there, FSU football fans, as we’re less than two weeks away from the 2025 season opener against the Alabama Crimson Tide. It’s an important game for both teams.

Mike Norvell wants to prove the 2-10 record for FSU was a fluke, and Alabama’s Kalen Deboer is trying to get from behind the shadow of Nick Saban after the worst season by Alabama standards in over a decade.

An interesting question is which program is this game more important to? That’s something I’ll tackle soon. Nevertheless, FSU will transition from fall camp to full preparation and installation for the Alabama game this week.

I presented five questions before fall camp started a few weeks ago, and I think we have answers to most of those questions aside from how much flexibility Tony White will have in coordinating the defense.

The team is relatively healthy, with only a couple of guys expected to contribute dealing with injuries. However, the way the early part of the schedule is laid out, anyone dealing with stuff will have multiple weeks to heal after the Alabama game.

I like where things are all things considered. Here are five major things we learned from fall camp.
