FSU football will enter the back half of its 2024 regular season as road underdogs for the first time against the Duke Blue Devils. The Noles will face the Blue Devils (5-1) on Friday night, with both teams coming off a bye week. A 20-game-winning streak will be on the line for the line for FSU.

They have had a lot of firsts over the past 5-6 years, and not in a positive sense. FSU missed its first bowl game in my lifetime in the 2018 season under Willie Taggart. They lost to Jacksonville State in Mike Norvell's second season.

However, they'll look to continue their streak against Duke as they look to build some momentum and finish the season on a positive note. The back half of the schedule sets up more favorable matchups, with FSU having Brock Glenn leading the offense.

Despite how the final six games go, there must be major changes to this coaching staff. They must get younger and become more aggressive on the recruiting trails. We'll talk about that more as we get closer to the end of the season. For now, here are my five major predictions for the back half of the regular season.
