We’re still basking in the glow of the huge win over Alabama on Saturday, but it’s about time to start turning our attention to the next opponent on the schedule, East Texas A&M.
The Lions are not a good team, finishing the 2024 season with a 3-9 record, and losing to ACC foe SMU 42-13 in the 2025 season opener last week.
FSU will be a multiple-touchdown betting favorite for the noon kickoff, and hopefully, FSU will have a decent crowd after last week’s performance. FSU will be big betting favorites this week and next week against Kent State, and it’s easy not to have much interest in those games because of that.
However, these games have massive stakes because of what needs to happen for this FSU football team to continue to evolve and build towards when ACC play starts.
I wrote about the five exciting things we learned from the big win over Alabama here. However, there were some major areas where FSU needs to show improvement in week two. I wrote about those here.
If you’re not too interested in this week’s game, here are three reasons you should get excited.
