Florida State played the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes last night on the road. Seminole fans thought it would not end in a good result for the program. It was certainly not ideal, but it was not all bad. Florida State lost to Miami by a score of 36-14.

However, the truth is that this squad is just not good. That is a difficult pill to swallow, as Florida State accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship in 2023. This has been an epic collapse that no individual (not even ESPN's Paul Finebaum) could have predicted.

The reality is that Florida State is now 1-7 on the year. I am disgusted writing that. It is sickening that this program has fallen so much in the fifth year of the Mike Norvell era. I hope they find a way to reverse the trend in 2025.

Nonetheless, I want to highlight three notable player performances from the loss to the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes.
