FSU football only had four games left in the 2024 season. I know most fans wish we could fast-forward to the end of the season to see what moves Mike Norvell will make regarding the coaching staff.

I believe FSU isn't far off because they have several talented young players and talent at arguably the most important position, the quarterback.

That's a luxury Mike Norvell didn't have when he took over the program in December 2019. Redshirt freshman Brock Glenn has shown some solid flashes in limited action, and Mike Norvell thrust freshman Luke Kromenhoek into action two games ago against Duke.

Admittedly, the game was moving fast for Kromenhoek, which is common for freshmen early in their careers. However, he took a major step in his next outing against the rival Miami Hurricanes in a hostile environment.

He played more snaps in that game than Brock Glenn and had better production overall. Mike Norvell was non-committal when asked if there were plans to redshirt Kromenhoek this season after Tuesday's practice.

FSU has four games remaining, and Kromenhoek can play in two to maintain his redshirt. Here are three major reasons I'd play him and avoid using the redshirt.
