Jordan Travis was a three-star recruit coming out of high school, ranked as the No. 889 player and No. 25 dual-threat quarterback nationally. He had 12 offers (FSU didn’t offer him), and he signed with Bobby Petrino at Louisville. However, that was short-lived, as Travis opted to transfer to FSU when Willie Taggart was the head coach.
Ironically, Travis didn’t get a chance to shine at FSU until Taggart got fired. Travis went on to become an FSU legend, helping Mike Norvell get the program out of the mud to win its first ACC Title since the 2014 season.
Travis went on to get selected in the NFL Draft by the New York Jets. The ironic thing is, every FSU fan would have lost their money if you asked them to bet on if Travis would be an NFL Draft pick in 2020-21.
Unfortunately, the injury that ended his Florida State career prevented him from getting a shot to compete for a starting job in the NFL.
Jordan Travis was the best player in Palm Beach County in 2017. He was FHSAA 3-A Player of the Year and Palm Beach Player of the Year. All of those accomplished coupled with what he did while at FSU has led to the following honor:
Congrats to Palm Beach County’s newest Hall of Fame member, my favorite athlete of all time, @jordantrav13 ! Love when Hall of Fame humans get rewarded with accolades they never thought they would achieve!!! Congrats JT!!!!!!!!

What a great honor for a great Nole
That's the older brother and FSU alum, Devon Travis breaking the news. It's awesome to see the accolades continue to mount for Jordan Travis after his playing career was cut short. He continues to help FSU football by donating money and recruiting high school talent. Congrats to Jordan Travis on this great achievement.
