COLLEGE FOOTBALL 26 VIDEO GAME

The College Football 26 video game will be released to the general public on July 10th. The series made an epic return last year, where it crushed video game records. It could be a carbon copy of what the 2025 version was, but fans will still buy it, knowing that there is passion in the sport of college football.

Nonetheless, in last year's game, the video game had a Tier system where Florida State football was a Tier 2 institution, which gained almost $60,000 from EA Sports. In College Football 26, the schools' royalty will be tied to how much they are used in the video game.

FSU FOOTBALL OUTLOOK IN THE VIDEO GAME

Overall, Florida State football was a laughing stock last year in college football, where they fell to an embarrassing 2-10 campaign in 2024. This is not the standard with the Seminoles, but head football coach Mike Norvell made massive changes in the offseason to change the narrative surrounding the program.

Norvell added new pieces to the roster, such as former UCF and Boston College quarterback Thomas Castellanos, who should allow the offense to get back to its bread and butter of running the football more efficiently. Plus, who doesn't love having a dual-threat quarterback in the video game?

Even though offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn will not be featured in the video game, he should still be a monumental piece to the Seminoles' offensive success in 2025. This should allow Seminole fans to have a better experience in this year's video game than last year, when other options were under center.

Nonetheless, be sure to play as Florida State so the extra revenue can shower in. That means that you need to tell everyone (even the mail carrier) to play as the Seminoles in the College Football 26 video game. Every penny could be beneficial to helping the program.
