Florida State football has had its fair share of failures on Early Signing Day. The Seminole fan base has to shield its eyes as prospects across the country make their decisions known. One major example is former five-star prospect Travis Hunter, who chose to follow head football coach Deion Sanders to Jackson State.

Even though the Seminoles finished with a 2-10 record, Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell hit the reset button in hopes of getting the program back on track. The Seminoles hired Gus Malzahn as offensive coordinator and Tony White as defensive coordinator.

The coaching hires and firings won't stop there as the program looks to generate excitement with proven coordinators who have a high-flying offense and an opportunistic defense. With that being said, prospects have to know how their position coaches are going to be before saying "yes" to a university that they will be at for the next 3-4 years.

Coming into Wednesday, Florida State sits as the 45th-best recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, according to 247Sports Composite. This is certainly not what the standard is at Florida State, as most individuals want to see the Seminoles in the top ten, at the least.

This is a time to shine for Florida State during the Early Signing Period and the transfer portal as they look to have a competent roster when they take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium.

This article will be utilized for the prospects who have made it official that they will be signing with Florida State.
