Could the Noles be in danger of losing two of its offensive line commits?
Florida State football has had a year that many fans want to flush from their memory as they have fallen to a 1-9 record. Even though the program has had success in the past, individuals are starting to question the ability of head football coach Mike Norvell.
I am not in that opinion. However, I will admit that this season has been disastrous and inexcusable. This was supposed to be a 2024 campaign that should have ended in winning the conference and making it to the College Football Playoff.
Recruiting has taken a hit. It is hard for the coaching staff to pursue high school prospects with the on-the-field product being what it is. The Seminoles currently rank as the 42nd-best recruiting class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Much like Florida State was trying to do this offseason, the Gators are trying to recruit against the Seminoles with their bad season negatively. The bad news continues as five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas and three-star offensive lineman Daniel Pierre Louis visited Gainesville for the win.
Florida State decided to fire offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins. We saw how the prospects responded to the firing on social media.
This had to leave a bad taste in their mouths for the person who recruited them to come to Florida State to be fired. However, it is the reality of a 1-9 season.
Unfortunately, On3's Keith Niebuhr made a flip prediction to Florida for Class of 2025 three-star offensive lineman Daniel Pierre Louis on Monday afternoon. Then On3's Steve Wiltfong stated that five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas is being pushed by teams such as Florida and LSU.
This is not looking good for the Seminoles' 2025 recruiting class. It was expected to be a group of prospects that the lack of success on the field would limit. Florida State cannot avoid losing these offensive linemen, especially Solomon Thomas.
