Are white helmets confirmed for the Seminoles in the matchup against Kent State?

Florida State football is playing Kent State today at 3:30 PM EST in Doak Campbell Stadium. The fan base is excited to see their seventh-ranked Seminoles in action after the unusual bye week after the blowout victory over East Texas A&M by a score of 77-3.

Head football coach Mike Norvell knows that he has to keep his squad focused, as they play ACC opponents Virginia and Miami after this contest. It is easy to get comfortable, but the Seminoles have to keep their foot on the pedal.

The Seminoles have the Golden Flashes in town, where their only win comes against Merrimack. Florida State is listed as a 44.5-point favorite against the MAC opponent.

WHAT UNIFORM WILL FSU WEAR?

There are select members of the fan base who love discussing uniforms. Some individuals view that Florida State has one of the best uniform combinations in all of college football. There is nothing like the Garnet and Gold, even though the logo and jersey design have changed throughout the years.

Kent State dropped their uniform combination, where they are rocking a vintage Chargers helmet that looks very cool.

Florida State decided to go with the traditional gold helmets, garnet jerseys, and gold pants combination for the Alabama game, which was expected since it was a highly-televised game. Then, the Seminoles wore gold helmets, garnet jerseys, and garnet pants versus East Texas A&M.

This Kent State game could be an opportunity for the Seminoles to go out in left field with a unique combination. 1st & Nole from Twitter (X) dropped Florida State quarterback Thomas Castellanos's Snapchat story, where it included a picture with the white helmets hanging in the lockers behind them.

This brings up the discussion of whether the Seminoles will wear the white helmets against Kent State. A combination that could be used for the game is the white helmets, garnet jerseys, and white pants. While there are fans who love the traditional, this is likely a contest in which Florida State premieres the white helmets.
