FIREWORKS FOR FSU RECRUITING?

Florida State football recruiting for the 2026 cycle is sitting outside the top 20 in all of the recruiting databases. It might not stay that way for long, as On3's Steve Wiltfong put in a crystal ball prediction for the Seminoles to land Class of 2026 four-star wide receiver target Brandon Bennett from American Heritage High School.

Florida State defensive line coach Terrance Knighton was able to lure in three-star defensive tackle/defensive end Wihtlley Cadeau from Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia. However, there needs to be more in the trenches if the Seminoles want sustainable success.

BIG EXPECTATIONS FOR FSU

On3's Steve Wiltfong stated in a recent YouTube video that the Seminoles have a shot to land quite a few prospects that were in Tallahassee over the weekend. This is exciting news for Florida State as they look to turn in the right direction for the summer in recruiting.

However, it should be noted that fans are allowed to be excited about the development that Wiltfong shared, but we have seen this story before. This is a new coaching staff, so maybe they will be able to finish out some of the recruitments to get them to sign on the dotted line.

Out of all the prospects that visited this past weekend, I believe that there are four recruits that Seminole fans should monitor: four-star wide receiver Devin Carter (Auburn commit), four-star wide receiver Brandon Bennett, four-star linebacker DQ Forkpa, and four-star linebacker Rodney Colton Jr.

If the Seminoles could get them, it would make the recruiting class very good for the 2026 cycle.
