All-time Florida State football player bracket (Semifinals and Finals)

March Madness is almost here! It is one of the most exciting college sporting events as the 64-team tournament takes place in a matter of days.

Individuals will be filling out their brackets in hopes of being that .000000000000001% who possess the coveted perfect bracket.

I am not here to break down the current 2025 NCAA Tournament and my bracket, but I want to have a little fun since the college football season for the Florida State Seminoles is a little under twenty-four weeks away from its season opener versus the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Here is my projected field of the all-time Florida State football players (not saying that these are the best sixteen):

There is nothing like two polarizing figures in Florida State football history. Both defensive back Deion Sanders and quarterback Jameis Winston are individuals who display a strong sense of confidence in their abilities. Winston is a Heisman Trophy winner and a BCS national champion in 2013, so the younger generation will remember the Alabama native. As for Prime Time, his nickname says it all, you cannot think of Florida State without talking about Deion Sanders (and Bobby Bowden). My selection is with the legendary defensive back.

They don't teach the size, speed, and strength of players such as linebacker Marvin "Shade Tree" Jones. Shade Tree was a defender that opposing offenses had nightmares about. He was very productive during the 1992 season, where he recorded 111 tackles and even finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy voting. As for Ward, he did win the 1993 Heisman Trophy. It was amazing to see the signal-caller follow through with his goals after starting his career as a punter. It was remarkable to see his journey blossom into something special, but Jones was someone that went unnoticed.

We are finally at the end of the all-time Florida State football player bracket. It was just in time before the NCAA Tournament began. I know that I will have one or two individuals state the following: "I just wish that they would hurry up with the content already!" To those people, I appreciate the love and support regardless. Nonetheless, it seems to be chalk with a 1 vs 2 championship matchup. If you can't tell, I love the defensive side of the football. Deion Sanders is the poster boy child of the program while Shade Tree is ready to deliver a huge hit that will put someone in the hospital. With that said, Sanders is the head football coach at Colorado and doesn't claim Florida State even though he went to school there, but I choose him to be the ultimate winner of the bracket.
