Florida State is in on a few quarterbacks, but has yet to receive a commitment from any of them. However, that could change in two weeks when Andre Adams is expected to make his decision.
The four-star prospect from Nashville took a visit to FSU this past weekend and has the Seminoles in a group that includes Mississippi State, Kentucky, Oregon, Colorado and Virginia Tech. Adams was one of the first targets that quarterbacks coach Austin Tucker pursued when he took the job in January and extended an offer to him in February.

4-star QB Adams has FSU in his final group
Adams tells Chris Nee of 247Sports that he's looking to make a decision on April 11, which is less than two weeks. Of the schools in his final group, Kentucky, Virginia Tech and Oregon all have the highest percentages, but it's hard to determine which school, if any, is considered the favorite.
FSU might have a small edge here because Adams is a prospect from Tennessee and that's still an area that Mike Norvell and many of his staff members feel most comfortable recruiting. The Seminoles haven't been recruiting Adams as long as some other programs, but it seems like Tucker has made up for a lot of lost time.
"[FSU is] a pretty high school on my list. I'm glad I got up here and seen it all," Adams said. "That just made them climb off of the conversations I had, the practice they had, the facilities, the campus – one of the best campuses I've been on."
Where does FSU stand with top QB targets?
Mike Norvell has cast a wide net looking for his next signal caller and, ironically, it's two prospects from the Chicago suburbs, Israel Abrams and Jake Nawrot, that are probably at the top of the list. Four-star in-state prospect Wonderful Monds IV is another target that just spent the weekend in Tallahassee. FSU is in a recruiting battle with Florida for Monds.Â
Those players are probably the top three on Norvell's wish list, but the staff seems to like Adams a lot and if he was interested in making a pledge to FSU, I think they would accept it.Â
