Florida State football underperformed during the 2024 season, where they collected a 2-10 record. This was thought to be a great opportunity for the youngsters to get involved in the gameplan with the year not going the way that they wanted.
Players such as quarterback Luke Kromenheok, running back Kameron Davis, wide receiver Lawayne McCoy, and tight ends Landen Thomas and Amaree Williams got significant playing time.
However, there are several that did not get their time to shine. It happens when the coaching staff think it might stunt their development if they play too early (look at Robert Scott Jr. on the offensive line as his career progressed) or are simply not ready for collegiate football.
