Three players on the Seminoles' roster have to perform well for the program in 2025.

WR DUCE ROBINSON

Florida State picked up Castellanos as I stated previously. I believe that the quarterback transfer is the fit for Gus Malzahn's offensive scheme.

The offense will ask him to throw it downfield to keep the opposing defenses honest. The wide receiver position was a mess last year. The Seminoles grabbed Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown in the transfer portal and it didn't help much on production.

Benson has gone to Oregon, and Brown is still on the football roster (I still have high hopes). The Seminoles knew that new talent needed to be added again via the transfer portal and recruiting ranks. One player that I am excited about is USC transfer Duce Robinson.

Robinson's father (Dominic) played for the Seminoles so the fan base is familiar with Duce. During the 2024 season, he had a productive statistical season with the Trojans. His 6'6" frame should allow Castellanos to pick up pivotal third downs and keep drives alive while also giving him a safety valve when blitzes are coming.
