3 impact players for Florida State football against North Carolina
LB OMAR GRAHAM JR.
Former Florida State defensive back Jarrian Jones made headlines when he was with the Seminoles where he went to the mic to say that he heard what individuals were saying about him on social media.
I am not in favor of the fan base attacking players on social media. They are 18-23-year-old men who are growing to what defines them later in life. I understand the perception of saying that those athletes get NIL deals, but it is still quite harsh.
Florida State has not found many positives this year where the Seminoles are sitting at 1-7 on the season. It has been disappointing and we pointed out that the offense has been terrible. However, it is worth mentioning that the defense has been serviceable.
One player that has improved week-over-week is redshirt sophomore linebacker Omar Graham Jr. The former Stranahan High School standout has been raved about by defensive coordinator Adam Fuller where he stated that he has been playing the best football since he has gotten here.
Graham Jr. is finally healthy and is starting to find his rhythm in the defense, where he recorded 17 total tackles over the past three weeks. I expect him to continue to find success versus the Tar Heels.
