Let me start by stating that I hope all mothers out there have a phenomenal Mother's Day. The world is a better place with all of the mothers in it.
Florida State football is currently sixteen weeks away from kicking off against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, August 30th, in the newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium. As a result, content is sometimes difficult to come by. However, we at ChopChat try to ensure that our audience is well-informed and entertained during the offseason to get us to kickoff as soon as possible.
In this article, I want to discuss three coaches that Florida State football fans love to hate.
BILLY NAPIER (FLORIDA)
The arch-rival Florida Gators got the best of the Florida State Seminoles as they won by a score of 31-11 in a game in a contest where it was never really competitive. Overall, it looked like head football coach Mike Norvell just wanted to get the offseason started early. However, the Gators decided to make a choice of planting their flag at midfield, and Norvell did not like that at all.

Norvell will be looking to "return the favor" when the Seminoles come to Gainesville next season.
MARIO CRISTOBAL (MIAMI)
Make no mistake about it, Miami and Florida State do not like each other. This looks like one of the more bitter rivalries as both schools consistently compete against each other on the recruiting trail. The Hurricanes got the best of the Seminoles last year (who didn't?). However, Florida State will look to get revenge with Miami having a completely new roster.

Miami 3

Florida State needs to get back to this level of dominance that they had against Miami in their 2022 matchup. Former quarterback Jordan Travis showed no mercy against head football coach Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes.
DABO SWINNEY (CLEMSON)
One of the biggest cornballs in the entire country is Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney. His TikTok video is about as cheesy as his utilization of the transfer portal. It is easy not to like Swinney, especially after he accused Florida State of ducking their competition during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I am sorry that I had to make you cringe watching that TikTok video. How can you have that individual running your program?
BONUS: DEION SANDERS (COLORADO)
This is a polarizing figure for Seminole fans. Colorado head football coach Deion Sanders is a former Florida State football player. He is one of the best players to wear the garnet and gold. Plus, Sanders is a Hall of Famer with his No. 2 jersey retired.

Sanders was able to sway a former five-star defensive back/wide receiver, Travis Hunter, away from Florida State, and some individuals have resented him for it. His attitude represents "Deion being Deion". Some fans love it, while some fans despise it.
