TE Jaheim Bell

As I alluded to with Coleman, there are many offensive players that I could chosen from. While it could have been easy to select a player like 6’7” Johnny Wilson, I elected to go with tight end Jaheim Bell.

Bell played with Rodemaker at Valdosta High School from 2018-2019. That level of familiarity could pay dividends for an offense wanting to continue its explosive ways. With Travis behind center, they had production early on with Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson on the outside, but they needed someone to attack the middle of the field.

There were weapons that could have fulfilled that role such as Winston Wright Jr. (transferred), Destyn Hill (dealt with injuries), and JaKhi Douglas. However, tight ends Kyle Morlock and Jaheim Bell have emerged into those options.

Bell has had a productive 2023 campaign where he has recorded 36 catches for 465 yards and two touchdowns. The former South Carolina transfer will likely be lined up everywhere on the field to be able to create mismatches on the Gators’ defense.
