QB Jordan Travis

The Florida State Seminoles had a variety of senior players on the roster that will be recognized during Senior Day at Doak Campbell Stadium. However, one player that the fanbase will give a long standing ovation for is quarterback Jordan Travis.

What a journey it has been for the West Palm Beach (FL) native… There were even some individuals that felt as though Travis could not throw a football over 15+ yards when he arrived in 2019 while former head football coach Willie Taggart was here.

However, current head football coach Mike Norvell believed in the signal caller and his abilities. Travis even considered changing position, but Norvell continued to emphasize his confidence even when he did not believe in himself.

During the 2023 season, Travis has completed 205 of his 320 passes for 2,734 yards and 20 touchdowns with only two interceptions. He has elevated himself in the Heisman Trophy contender conversation. However, the quarterback is more focused on getting his team the opportunity to win a national championship.

He certainly deserves to have his moment for everything that he has been through during his career on Saturday.
