Five-star WR Jeremiah Smith (Ohio State commit)

Wide receivers coach Ron Dugans has been cooking with hot grease on the recruiting trail when it comes to acquiring highly-touted prospects at his position. While the Seminoles have four wide receivers committed to their class in four-stars Camdon Frier, BJ Gibson, Lawayne McCoy, and Elijah Moore, Florida State has not given up their pursuit in pushing other playmakers for their roster.

The top target on their recruiting board is five-star Jeremiah Smith from Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Florida, who has been committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes since December 14, 2022. While there have been many teams that feel confident in their ability to flip Smith from the Buckeyes, he has remained loyal to his pledge.

The Ohio State offense has not been considered elite this season, but they have one of the best playmakers in all of college football with Marvin Harrison Jr. Hopefully, the Seminoles can showcase a healthy Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman to Smith in Saturday’s matchup.
