FSU football has done a tremendous job with making great impressions on a several highly-touted prospects in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

While some fans view that it is too early to be concerned about 2025 prospects, it is worth mentioning that these are building blocks to creating a framework for the future of the program.

This coaching staff takes the time to create lasting relationships with a multitude of 2024 prospects, as well as recruits of the 2025 and 2026 recruiting cycles also.

The Florida State Seminoles rank No. 20 in the 2025 247Sports Composite rankings with two prospects committed to the fold in four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida and three-star Trammell Jones Jr. from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

The program recently decided to mutually part ways with three-star wide receiver DL Hardison from Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, Florida. As a result, the Seminoles do not have a pass catcher in their recruiting class anymore.

However, the coaching staff seems to have a plan in place as Class of 2025 Alabama five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida remains to be their top target at the position.

Ffrench is high school teammate with three-star quarterback commit Trammell Jones Jr. It seems like the Seminoles were in a good position with the talented playmaker over the summer, but he opted to commit to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

However, the recruitment seems to not be over as On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons reported that the five-star Alabama wide receiver commit will be visiting Florida State during the weekend of November 11th when the Seminoles take on the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes.

This is one of the biggest home games of the 2023 season that many highly-touted recruits had circled in the offseason. Ffrench should have the opportunity to see an electric Doak Campbell Stadium as the Hurricanes come to town.
