QB Jordan Travis

Another week, another impact player article that features redshirt senior quarterback Jordan Travis. Understandably, the veteran signal caller is that pivotal to the making of this football team. The offense goes where Travis goes.

The West Palm Beach (FL) native has had a serviceable 2023 campaign filled with positive moments, but Travis had expectations of winning a Heisman Trophy this season. Unfortunately, according to DraftKings, he has the fourth-best odds behind signal callers such as J.J. McCarthy (Michigan),  Michael Penix (Washington), and Jayden Daniels (LSU).

With Wake Forest’s defensive unit allowing 238.6 passing yards per game (83rd in the FBS), Travis could be in a prime position to make up some ground in the Heisman Trophy race given that there isn’t a clear-cut leader at the moment.

The regular season is inching closer to the finish line, and the veteran is ready to do whatever it takes to lead the Seminoles to victory.
