FSU football: 3 important things to know about Wake Forest
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football will travel to Winston-Salem for a sleepy noon kickoff against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons as 20-point betting favorites. It’s a game Nole fans and I have been looking forward to since this summer when Wake Forest fans were some of the most vocal criticizers about FSU voicing that they wanted more money or they would need to leave the ACC.
The Wake Forest Athletic Director went so far as to put out a graphic that Wake Forest was the fastest-growing brand in the conference. However, once the games started getting played, Wake Forest was nowhere to be found on any games with monster TV ratings.
Heck, they haven’t been on any, but that wasn’t surprising to the FSU fans who called out that lie when it got posted on social media. The other part of why this game got circled by FSU football fans was Wake Forest bragging about beating FSU in three straight games.

However, when Big Brother is ready to toss Little Brother off his back, there’s nothing the little guy can do.
That’s where we are at this point. It’s an expected win over an inferior opponent, and we’ll pull the bookmarks from Wake Forest fans on social media, laugh as they return to a joke of a program, and move on to bigger and better things.
Here are three things you need to know about the Demon Deacons.
