QB Jordan Travis

How could I go through this impact players article without including redshirt senior quarterback Jordan Travis? The veteran signal caller had a phenomenal performance where he completed 27 of his 36 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns.

Fans understand who Travis is as a passer, but they wanted the West Palm Beach (FL) native to be able to utilize his legs at an effective rate. The dual-threat quarterback did just that against the Blue Devils as he had 10 carries for 62 yards and one touchdown.

FSU’s offense was on their own 4-yard line trailing by a score of 20-17 with 4:21 left in the third quarter after forced a turnover on downs with Duke’s offense stalling in the red zone. Travis took the game into his own hands on the drive where he completed seven of his eight passes for 45 yards and had 40 rushing yards.

While it was not a perfect performance, he did whatever it took to give the Seminoles a victory.
