FSU football: Impact players for matchup versus Duke
Duke Impact Players
While we all know that this is not BlueDevilChat, I would like to recognize a couple of players from Duke’s football roster that could make an impact in Saturday’s matchup.
The first player that I would like to mention is quarterback Riley Leonard/Henry Belin IV. I alluded to it in the previous slide, but Leonard could be available for this game as he is coming back from an ankle injury. If he cannot go, dual-threat quarterback Henry Belin IV will be the starter. He completed four of his twelve passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns in their 24-3 win over North Carolina State.
Given the quarterback situation, I feel as though running back Jordan Waters could be the next player to focus on, given the uncertainty surrounding the quarterbacks. Having a quality running game could take the pressure off of the quarterback’s shoulders.
Lastly, I would like mention linebacker Tre Freeman. He is their leading tackler (49 total tackles) and is the considered the leader of their defensive unit. If the Seminoles’ running game wants to be successful, they have to neutralize the talented linebacker.

•RB Jordan Waters
