QB Jordan Travis taking what the defense gives him

During the offseason, redshirt senior quarterback Jordan Travis has been in the conversation about potentially winning a Heisman Trophy in 2023. This makes perfect sense, considering the offensive weapons that he has surrounding him. During the season, the talented signal-caller has completed 74 of his 121 passes for 1,028 yards with 10 touchdowns and only one interception.

While the stats do not indicate a need for improvement, the West Palm Beach (FL) native has not utilized his dual-threat ability. He has only rushed 23 times for 94 yards and two touchdowns through four games. On top of that, the offense has been primarily centered around showcasing the deep ball to its big-play wide receivers.

Will the Seminoles be able to get back to the drawing board where they implement screens, slants, and crossing patterns into the scheme for easier second-down conversions?
