The Clemson game has been circled for FSU football fans since falling short in their comeback bid against Clemson last season. It felt like it was easy to point out where FSU fell short in that game, and FSU coaches have added the necessary pieces to get over the hump for the first time since the 2014 season.

We’ll find out on Saturday afternoon. The Noles enter the contest as slight betting favorites on the road. How do these teams match up?

Who likely wins the game? We discuss that and more in the interview below.
FSU football has been established in the FanSided network for a while with our coverage of the Noles.

We’re lucky enough to have a FanSided site dedicated to covering Clemson sports. I was fortunate to discuss five questions with Clemson expert John Chancey from Rubbing The Rock.

Check them out for all things Clemson sports. The questions and answers are below:

Chop Chat: Clemson suffered an upset loss against Duke in the season opener. Was that more Clemson beating themselves, or is Duke pretty good? Has that loss dampened season expectations? What were the season expectations before the season when they were preseason No. 9?

Rubbing The Rock: Duke is a pretty good team, and Riley Leonard is a pretty good quarterback, but I think Clemson would win that game if it weren’t for the catastrophic mistakes. Two fumbles inside the Duke 5-yard line, two blocked field goals and errors by Cade Klubnik did them in. Expectations were that Clemson would be competing to be in the ACC Championship game. They have been dampened since they are already a game behind all the other contenders.
