FSU football has already made connections with prospects in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

The Seminoles have four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr. and four-star wide receiver DL Hardison committed to their 2025 recruiting class.

As a wise man once said: “Defense wins championships”. The Seminoles are looking to get back on top of the mountain of college football, and they could accomplish that with acquiring highly-touted prospects on that side of the football.

Pass rusher is certainly a premier position to obtain in recruiting. On Sunday afternoon, the Seminoles learned they were in the mix with ultra-talented 2025 five-star pass rusher Zion Grady from Charles Henderson High School in Troy, Alabama.

While it is still very early in the decision process for Grady, it is encouraging to hang in there with in-state schools such as Alabama and Auburn.

It is worth mentioning that Troy, Alabama, is two hours and 45 minutes away from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and approximately three hours away from Tallahassee, Florida. The distance is not a factor in that regard when discussing proximity to home with the likes of the Crimson Tide.

However, the talented defensive end has made it a priority to unofficially visit Auburn and Georgia three times a piece this spring. Some individuals around the recruitment feel the home-state Auburn Tigers hold the advantage.

However, that has not stopped the Seminoles’ recruiting efforts. Grady unofficially visited the Seminoles twice this spring when he came down on January 21st for a Junior Day event and June 10th for a camp.

Could FSU get him to unofficially visit for the recruiting event at the end of the month and/or attend a game for this fall?

He put evaluators on notice as he was rewarded Alabama Class 5A Lineman of the Year in 2022. During his sophomore season, he recorded 108 tackles, 27 quarterback hurries, 22 sacks, three forced fumbles, and two forced fumbles.

Next. FSU commit recruiting Charles Lester III and KJ Bolden. dark
