FSU football has impressively constructed a top-10 recruiting class in the 2024 cycle thus far.

Panic in June

Flashing back to June, some FSU fans were worried about the lack of recruiting momentum generated by the program. They saw the arch-rival Florida Gators obtain commitments early on and wondered when the time would be coming for the Seminoles.

July fireworks

July has been monumental for the Seminoles, as they have already acquired seven prospects.

However, that has not stopped four-star running back commit Kameron Davis from recruiting highly-touted prospects to join him in Tallahassee.

Five-star cornerback Charles Lester III and five-star safety Khalil “KJ” Bolden are two of the Seminoles’ top remaining targets for the 2024 recruiting cycle. The coaching staff is on a roll with acquiring prospects.

Dynamic duo in Tallahassee?

Having both Lester III and Bolden in the defensive backfield would be lethal for the future of the Seminoles’ defensive unit.

Defensive backs Patrick Surtain Sr. is entering his first season in Tallahassee and looks to bolster FSU’s defensive backs into something special.

Roster outlook

The Seminoles have three redshirt senior defensive backs on the roster Renardo Green, Akeem Dent, and Jarrian Jones. With that said, it could allow Lester III and Bolden to play early in their respective careers at Florida State.

FSU continues to add talent to their secondary with their 2024 recruiting class, as they already have four-star cornerback Ricky Knight III, four-star safety CJ Heard, and three-star safety Rydarrius Morgan. Not to mention that they also have four-star cornerback Jalewis Solomon who they are pursuing.

Levy to Rutgers

On Saturday afternoon, four-star cornerback Kevin Levy chose the Rutgers Scarlet Knights after being crystal balled to the Seminoles and then having his crystal ball predictions flipped to Louisville.

The coaching staff is working on getting the best talent to Tallahassee, and it all starts with getting Lester III and Bolden in the fold.
