FSU football fans understand the recruiting prowess of offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins.

Atkins has done a tremendous job since being hired by the Seminoles of relating to prospects (via the recruiting trail and transfer portal) in a way that makes FSU a family-like environment.

However, as it stands, the Seminoles do not have an offensive lineman prospect committed to their 2024 recruiting class thus far.

That could change today as five-star offensive tackle Jonathan Daniels from Pine Forest High School in Pensacola, Florida, hinted Monday night on his Twitter account that he has a big decision tomorrow (on July 4th).

Daniels currently has five crystal ball prediction in favor of the Seminoles. The talented offensive lineman has been campus three times since being offered on July 30, 2022.

Daniels has been a number one priority for the Seminoles for quite some time. After missing out on four-star offensive tackle Manasse Itete and four-star interior offensive lineman Jason Zandamela to USC, FSU has placed an importance on ensuring that the Pensacola native pledges to the Seminoles.

Daniels officially visited Tallahassee during the exciting June 23rd weekend, where he was took pictures in the all-white uniform combination (we all know what that mean).

Plus, he also commented on On3’s Social Media Football Recruiting Expert Hayes Fawcett’s Twitter post about if anyone needed a top schools edit or commitment edit to hit him up with “Can you inbox me!!”

The coaching staff has expressed that fireworks could and should be expected during the month of July.

FSU fans were patiently waiting in the months of May and June to get commitments. However, the pledges never came. As a result, they had to see the arch-rival Florida Gators become successful on the recruiting trail.

The Seminoles added two talented prospects to their recruiting class in four-star defensive end Daniel “DD” Holmes and four-star cornerback Ricky Knight III on Saturday afternoon.

But the coaching staff is just starting to heat up as we get into the heart of summer.
