We’ve been trying to prepare FSU football fans for what’s to come with recruiting after a busy June.

The coaching staff spent all month hosting numerous visitors and big-time targets but didn’t have players to commit to the program publically.

We’ve given you a list of players that will likely commit in July, and head coach Mike Norvell feels like FSU will add some big-time players in July.

Check out what he wrote on Twitter Friday morning:

I think it’s cool Mike Norvell uses the platform to thank his coaches for the hardwork and long hours worked. There’s a reason coaches want to work for the man.

I spoke about Norvell not feeling the pressure to accept commits from fringe targets, in an attempt match what other programs do on the recruiting trail. It speaks to his confidence in their process and believe in how they do thing.

It also speaks to how confident he feels about what will transpire over the next few weeks. The FSU fan base and rival fans have been critical of the staffs high school recruiting, but I think the coaching has answered the call.

FSU football has a 64 percent blue-chip ratio and will likely add several more blue-chip players in July. It’s possible FSU could have five top 100 players in its class at the end of the month and another six ranked between No. 195 and No. 375.

Most importantly, the staff will have most of the needs filled soon, with quality targets remaining going into the season. It’ll depend on how many high school players they want to take in the class, but the possiblity of finishing with its highest-ranked class in the Mike Norvell era is extremely high.

I mean they should, considering they won 10 games last year and have their NIL game among the best in the nation.
