FSU football secured commitments from four-star defensive end Daniel “DD” Holmes and four-star cornerback Ricky Knight III for their 2024 recruiting class yesterday afternoon.

Knight III has already started to put his recruiting hat on for a variety of prospects. He went to his Instagram story and tried to convince the following prospects to join Tribe24:

•Five-star cornerback Charles Lester III (Instagram account username @cl3slimee)

•Five-star wide receiver Joshisa Trader (Instagram account username @joshisathe1)

•Three-star cornerback Kevin Levy (Instagram account username @neweraaglo)

I have attached my Twitter post that includes two screenshots of the Instagram stories since they are only available for 24 hours and then disappear.

Charles Lester III

FSU fans understand how important Lester III is to obtain for this recruiting class. He is one of those can’t-miss prospects that plays the cornerback position and had five interceptions during his junior season. He also plays the wide receiver position in high school as well.

The Seminoles will be competing against the likes of Colorado, Alabama, and Georgia when he decides on July 28th (previously scheduled for July 29th). Lester III has been at the top of their target board for quite a while now, and FSU cannot afford to lose him at the final hour to another school.

Joshisa Trader

While the Seminoles have four wide receiver prospects committed to their 2024 recruiting class, that hasn’t deterred the coaching staff from attempting to obtain more talented playmakers. FSU could even be able to secure a fifth wide receiver prospect on the Fourth of July (maybe even a sixth).

It seems to be an FSU-Miami battle for Trader thus far. The Seminoles were able to get him on campus twice in the past three months for unofficial visits. He will likely save his official visit for a game this season (hopefully Miami when they come to Tallahassee). Even if the Seminoles were able to get Moore and Madison II, I don’t believe they would turn away an opportunity to land Trader.

Kevin Levy

Levy is a newer prospect that FSU is recruiting more heavily after offering him on February 14, 2023. He officially visited the Seminoles on June 16th. The coaching staff like him as a cornerback prospect. This is a prospect that has lightning speed where he ran a 10.66 time in the 100-meter.

The Florida Gators were once viewed as the favorite in his recruitment. However, the Seminoles are starting to take a commanding lead in the recruitment as they hold three crystal ball predictions for the speedy cornerback. He will be deciding on July 15th.
