FSU football fans have waited patiently for a prospect to join the Seminoles’ 2024 recruiting class.

Thankfully, they might not have to wait much longer as four-star cornerback target Ricky Knight III from Cardinal Newman High School from West Palm Beach, Florida (transferred from The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida) received a crystal ball prediction last night in favor of the Florida State Seminoles with a confidence level of 6 out of 10 from CatsPause Kentucky Insider Josh Edwards.

The talented defensive back will make his announcement on the 247Sports YouTube channel Saturday, July 1st at 4 PM EST/3 PM CST.

He officially visited Penn State (June 2-4), Illinois (June 9-11), Florida State (June 16-18), and Miami (June 23-25).

Knight III seems to value the Seminoles were the first team to offer him a scholarship on January 15, 2023. FSU hired defensive backs Patrick Surtain Sr. three days later (January 18, 2023), and the relationship continued to build positively.

He now holds three crystal ball predictions in favor of Florida State and looks to be the second defensive back to commit to the program.

To make matters even better, three-star cornerback target Kevin Levy from Cardinal Newman High School from West Palm Beach, Florida, also received a crystal ball prediction last night in favor of the Florida State Seminoles with a confidence level of 6 out of 10 from CatsPause Kentucky Insider Josh Edwards.

Levy is first cousins with Knight III, and they have hinted at the idea of playing together at the collegiate level. He also holds three crystal ball predictions for the Seminoles.
The Cardinal Newman High School speedster officially visited Rutgers (June 2-4), Louisville (June 9-11), Florida State (June 16-18), and Illinois (June 23-25).

This recruitment of Levy reminds me a ton of when the Seminoles were recruiting former Class of 2020 three-star cornerback Kevin Knowles II. Just like Levy, Knowles II was an underrated South Florida prospect that went under the radar for some teams.
It looks as though July could be just what the Seminoles needed for recruiting momentum.
