2024 FSU football quarterback commit Luke Kromenhoek has been climbing up the recruitment rankings since committing to the Noles nearly a year and a half ago.

Kromenhoek wasn’t the starter of his high school football team then but has a year of starting experience and a state title to his credit.

Those accolades and potential have placed him as the No. 10 quarterback in the nation going into the Elite 11 Finals competition, which took place over the past few days.

However, after his performances, Kromenhoek deserves to see his recruitment ranking improve again. Here’s the list of guys ranked above him according to the 247 Composite rankings:

  1. Dylan Raiola: 5-star (UGA commit)
  2. Julian Sayin: 5-star (Alabama commit)
  3. DJ Lagway: 5-star (Florida commit)
  4. Jadyn Davis: 4-star (Michigan commit)
  5. Air Noland: 4-star (Ohio State commit)
  6. CJ Carr: 4-star (Notre Dame commit)
  7. Jake Merklinger: 4-star (Tennessee commit)
  8. Elijah Brown: 4-star (uncommitted)
  9. Walker White: 4-star (Auburn)

Here are where the top two recruiting sites ranked the Elite 11 Finalists:

That’s a large discrepancy for Penn State commit Ethan Grunkmeyer, so I don’t know what to make of it. However, Kromenhoek and Air Noland are neck-and-neck for the No. 3/4 spots for both sites, with the only players above ranked as fives-stars going into the competition.
