FSU football: Five players who could break out in 2023
Talk of the Offseason
FSU football enjoyed the benefits of having a successful 2022 season, which included defeating both arch-rivals Miami and Florida. They accomplished the feat of having a 10-win season for the 25th time in program history. The Seminoles have been the talk of the offseason by multiple college football analysts. Head football coach Mike Norvell is entering his fourth season in Tallahassee with monumental expectations.
Does FSU have a top-15 roster?
FSU has a top fifteen roster in the country when evaluating it overall. It is incredible to consider how far the program has come. Coach Norvell has certainly changed the trajectory of the Seminoles for the better. Rightfully so, recruits and transfers are putting the Seminoles at the top of their destination lists.
FSU is headlined by their redshirt senior quarterback Jordan Travis, who is looking to become the first Heisman Trophy winner since Jameis Winston did so in 2013. Not to mention the Seminoles also have pieces such as running back Trey Benson, wide receiver Johnny Wilson, defensive end Jared Verse, defensive tackle Fabien Lovett Sr., and linebacker Tatum Bethune. However, in this article, I want to break down some breakout players that might be going under the radar by some individuals.
