The Reese’s Senior Bowl is coming up this week, and FSU safety Jammie Robinson wants to make sure folks stop sleeping on him.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl is an opportunity for upcoming NFL Draft prospects to play one final time to show what they can do in a game before they begin preparing for the NFL Draft.

This year’s Reese’s Senior Bowl will be in Mobile, Alabama, at the University of South Alabama, Hancock Whitney Stadium on February 4, 2023. Kickoff is for 2:30 PM ET.

The Noles have sent many players to this game in years past and could have sent several this year had decided to forgo returning to FSU to play another season. Players like Jordan Travis and Fabien Lovett could have played in the game.

This year, the Noles are represented by Jammie Robinson on the American Team.

The theme surrounding Jammie Robinson going into the game earning respect because he’s tired of getting slept on.

Robinson transferred to FSU from South Carolina and led the team in tackles in the last two seasons. He earned All-ACC First Team honors, but still seems to be overlooked, according to a recent quote on social media:

Robinson was a three-star prospect out of high school, ranking as the No. 393 player overall and No. 32 safety.

However, he has far surpassed expectations of someone with that ranking, but most projections place him in the third to sixth-round range in the NFL Draft.

That’s a wide range for safety. Robinson showed the ability to take over games a few times at FSU, his final game against Oklahoma comes to mind.

The production is there, and he’s a sure tackler, but his draft evaluation will likely impact his status.

How long are his arms? What will his 40 times and shuttle times be? NFL executives get caught up in those measurements more than the film at times.
